And it was so great to find this here. We couldn't find anything like this for my first child. He ended up having some flatness in his skull despite taking all kinds of precautions. I fully agree with all the benefits of using this kind of cradle for the baby. It's been very effective for centuries. I was pleasantly surprised by its size, weight and portability. The packaging lacks instructions on how to assemble this, but it's super easy to put it together. It took me less than 10 min. And it didn't require using any tools. And if you need to take it somewhere, it can fit in any bag easily. It looks sturdy enough to hold infant up to a year or so. Before we were using a bassinet and it was horrible. My baby absolutely hated it and whenever we would transition from our arms into it, he would awake and we would have to repeat the process all over again. THIS PRODUCT IS OUR LIFE SAVER AND SLEEP SAVIOR. At first we were concerned about it being unsafe for a newborn and SIDS so after we received the flat bad version we tested it out only to end up using the curved bed more often. The pros about the curved bed is that, along with the swaddling, it keeps our baby feeling like he's in a caccoon and this really extends my sleep cycle to 4-5 hours.. 6 on those lucky nights! I seriously recommend this product. It's truly great. He is still falling asleep in ghodiyu. Additionally we have found it very easy and convenient to feed him with the bottle when he is held securely inside making the feeding a lot more convenient. Additional tips you can hang something on the cross bar like a carseat toy, so the baby can be busy watching his/her toy while falling asleep. Or wrap soft thick cotton towel on the cross bar so you don't accidentally bump the baby on it. I am trying to add pictures but it seems i don't have option to do so for the review. Original June 2015 This is a must have! For my 4 month old son we have used Ghodiyu since he was 3 weeks old. We had one old one passed down from family members.
